Hello, nice to meet you!

I’m Hanna, the designer behind Finmade. I was born and raised in Finland, but have resided in the U.S.,
since earning a degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. My career
started in wine packaging, before expanding to surface and textile design while working at a Los Angeles based cosmetic accessories company. Since then I have served as a Senior Design Manager for an eco-paper product company, and as a Design Director for two leading beauty, personal care, and household goods companies.

My designs are rooted in Scandinavian tradition, timeless, fun, and clean with a sprinkle of whimsy. I’m a nature lover, and a curious wanderer with a major weakness for dry rosé and charcuterie. When not working, I enjoy the sunny outdoors, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with my husband, Brian, our cat, and two corgi pups.
