Hello, nice to meet you!

I’m Hanna, the designer behind Finmade. I was born and raised in Finland, and currently reside in Savannah, Georgia. After earning a degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, my career started in packaging design, before expanding to textile and surface design while working at a Los Angeles based beauty accessories company. Since then I have served as a Senior Design Manager for an eco-paper product company, and as a Creative Director for two leading beauty, personal care, and household goods companies.

After years of experience in the design industry, I broke out on my own as an independent contract designer.
I am passionate about all things design, and life’s beautiful treasures. My designs are rooted in Scandinavian tradition, timeless, fun, and clean with a sprinkle of whimsy.

Besides working as an independent designer, I am also a co-founder and creative at Hali Hali Design,
a sustainable home décor and household goods brand.

I’m a nature lover, and a curious wanderer with a major weakness for dry rosé and charcuterie. When not working,
I enjoy the sunny outdoors, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with my husband, Brian, our cat, and two corgi pups.
